“I grew up in Mid Wales and developed a passion for music from an early age. Getting my first little keyboard aged 9 was about the most exciting thing ever. I learnt trumpet, guitar and piano, and played in every group I possibly could, school orchestra, town brass band etc. I went to Manchester to study music where again I joined yet more bands, and after graduating began my career writing music for TV programmes as my real passion has always been to create music. However at this time I began touring and recording with Manchester band Cherry Ghost for several years and then session playing for several bands including Elbow, Miles Kane and Arctic Monkeys which involved touring internationally, this was of course enormous fun! I have always though, above all wanted to create new music and have honed my technological and artistic skills, and I now exclusively create music for TV, Film and Theatre. I use a range of organic and electronic techniques to create imaginative music by myself and in partnership with my musician friends, which has led to repeated commissions for production companies and broadcasters across the globe”
